What is the second most popular search engine after Google? Many people may be surprised, but the answer is … YouTube. With our new project we join the trend of gathering engaged audience and presenting the passion in short videos.
On YouTube, you can find a lot of more and less professional videos dedicated to the driver’s life, reports from the road and thoughts and experiences presented by drivers. These types of videos are very popular, they stimulate discussion, encourage exchange of ideas and integrate the environment. Our channel will be related to truck transport which will be presented in our own individual style.
First and foremost, we want to produce driver-friendly videos that can be useful on the road, and which are related to popular search queries. Although some of the things that we are going to talk about may seem obvious to experienced drivers, I myself remember numerous situations when the drivers signed a statement that the vehicle was ready to tilt the cab and while it was being tilted, a thermos or a bottle hit the windshield. We’ll talk about seemingly obvious things like cab tilt rules, but also about more advanced issues. I am convinced that everyone will find a lot of useful information on this channel. Adam Wołowiec, the host of the channel.
Adam is a longtime employee of our MAN truck service, a professional driver, a driving instructor, and a big fan of automotive and … acting. The combination of his interests and professional experience help in recording videos that incorporate a variety of insights into the topics discussed. The first episode shows the preparation of the truck. The subject matter quickly turned out to be too broad to fit into one video. That is why further videos were made devoted to such topics as cab tilting, trailer coupling, and first aid kits.
Variety of topics
For the opening of the channel, we decided to present the topics in a form of tutorials and this form will be the most frequent one as we want the content to be useful and since YouTube seems to lack this type of channels. At the same time, we assume that the technical aspects of using tractors units or semitrailers might be interesting and attractive for drivers. – It is worth talking about such things, because sometimes the driver is left to himself. Or it is good to have some basic knowledge when the service asks to check something. For example, if a pipe connecting an intercooler to a turbine disconnects, then in many cases a driver is able to solve it himself – it often only seems to be a serious problem.” says Adam Wołowiec.
In addition to the classic tutorials, we are also planning to prepare more varied forms, such as road reports or episodes in which we will verify facts and myths. The subscribers themselves will influence the choice of topics as they can submit their suggestions in their comments. One thing is certain, our YouTube channel will touch topics of C + E category. We will be consulting experts before recording the videos to make sure the information provided in our videos is verified and well-researched.
The channel is going to use equipment and facilities of Omega Pilzno. Such a possibility to create attractive and varied content allows production of high quality materials. All Omega & More readers are welcome to check our new communication channel.
