On April 5, a team of specialists from the Podkarpackie Logistics Park of OMEGA Pilzno (being a part of Omega Pilzno Group) had a meeting with the members of Students Logistics Association LOGIKON at the University of Information Technology and Management.
During the lecture, the participants listened to three presentations that covered the most important aspects of our company profile. The aim of Omega Academy is to share the practical knowledge, that is why students eagerly listened to presentations by:
- Grzegorz Moskala, who talked about benefits of using high storage warehouses in Mokrzec, Podgrodzie and Jasionka, which belong to the Podkarpackie Logistics Park,
- Gabriela Sawonska, who discussed the supply chain management process in LCL transport,
- Katarzyna Baran, who focused on the supply chain management process in intermodal transport and presented the main assets of the Customs and Port Department in Gdynia.
Additional attractions were contests in which students could receive our company gadgets. At the end of the meeting, the participants could talk to Pawel Skotniczy, the Director of the Podkarpacie Logistics Park, and find out who is desirable in the logistics sector and what qualities a potential employee needs to have.
The lecture in the University of Information Technology and Management was the first of a series of meetings conducted as part of OMEGA Academy, intended for students of Logistics – the faculty under our patronage.

The lecture in the University of Information Technology and Management was another, but not the last meeting organized as part of OMEGA Academy. The practical knowledge shared by experienced employees who coordinate supply chain stages on a daily basis was not the only benefit of the meeting. Agnieszka Fraczek, a Program Coordinator, encouraged students to apply for summer internships in our company. The best interns will be employed and get a chance to develop their skills in a team of experienced logistics.
